ClearView Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By installing and using ClearView ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please uninstall the App.

2. Description of Service

ClearView is a Shopify app that helps merchants understand their true profit by combining Shopify order data with product costs, shipping, and transaction fees, and (in future releases) advertising spend and attribution.

3. Subscription Plans

ClearView offers a Free plan and a Pro plan ($29/month). The Pro plan includes a 7-day free trial. You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel at any time through the App's billing page. Charges are billed through Shopify's billing system.

4. Accuracy of Profit Figures

• ClearView calculates estimated profit using the data available from Shopify and the cost assumptions you provide (product costs, fee rates, shipping cost). Figures are estimates for decision support, not accounting-grade financial statements.
• Profit excludes sales tax (treated as pass-through). Accuracy depends on you keeping product costs and assumptions up to date.
• ClearView does not provide tax, accounting, or legal advice. Consult a professional for those needs.

5. Merchant Responsibilities

• You are responsible for the accuracy of the cost data and assumptions you enter.
• You are responsible for maintaining your Shopify account and any third-party connections you authorize.

6. Limitation of Liability

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for business decisions made based on the App's estimates, or for any indirect or consequential damages.

7. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
